Exterminate a god!!!

What a great game! I couldnt put it down. I played it in about 2-3 hours, and it was fun all the way through. It has a great story and awesome gameplay. It was definitely worth the money, and I would suggest it to anyone.

Best one yet

Reminds me of the choose your own adventure books of my youth, meshed with DnD. Best thing in the app store by far. I loved the addition of skills, and am currently on my 5th play through to find the different paths. Please keep up the good work.

Frustrating

The game is written pretty well, and has a descent, sprawling story. The problem, though, is that for the most part, there is only one "right" answer for any choice youre presented. And, if you choose the wrong one, the game could just end with an abrupt and completely unfulfilling conclusion--i.e. you fail, game over. Combat is kind of pointless--just rolling dice over and over--and if you fail, thats it, the game ends: either restart or reload, which is okay in a video game, but in a text-based narrative, I dont like hitting a brick wall and having to start over. I just really wish in games like this, instead of choosing wrong and having the story end, the story changes in response to your choice, but continues in a logical way to eventually reach a fulfilling--though perhaps not ideal or happy--narrative ending.

Much fun!

Totally addicting! Well written fun.

Aaaack! VOLUME!!!

I enjoy the App, but it nearly made me deaf! It put my earbuds at FULL VOLUME to start the program (and I was listening to my own music at the time). I cannot tolerate apps that alter my ipods volume. I prefer keeping it low or even muted. So, good game, but VERY BAD volume issue.

Decent but not particularly great.

A digital version of a choose your own adventure book - the game forces too much backtracking due to deaths by bad luck and random choices made without enough information. The writing for this particular book is a little flat and cliched with too many bits of borrowed elements from other sources (Indiana Jones movies being repeatedly lifted from throughout). Price is a little steep as well for what you get.

Love this App!

I always loved Choose Your Own Adventure books, and this app gives me what I was looking for! Thanks for making these great games!

Great Adventure

This is the second Gamebook Ive played. The combat seemed easier with companions. I enjoyed the story. Worth the price.

Phobia

Like all game books, this is a great game worth getting. But it is among the worst in the series because of the phobia checks. They are stupid and pointless.

Great gaming experience

I was a big fan of the "Fighting Fantasy" game books when I was a young kid in the early 80s and this adventure took me on a pleasant nostalgic trip. The adventure is well-written and offers the reader an entertaining read! I look forward to reading the other Gamebook Adventures!

Challenging and fun

Of all the Tin Man gamebooks I have purchased I enjoyed this one most. The phobia checks were and added element to the story making it that much more interesting. There were just enough options in this story for it to feel as if you had a good deal of control. The only caveat is that you had to get a lot of things right to get the good ending to this story. It will take a lot of time to get through this one but its worth it. Good job!

Good but too short

Good

Great

Enjoyed it completely. Love the colorful art, great story and gameplay. Thanks!
